Fifth Grade Supply List

**1 dozen #2 pencils/sharpened (NO mechanical pencils are allowed)
**1 pack of eraser tops/or extra erasers (rectangular)
1 pack of red pens
**2 yellow hi-lighter markers
1 pack of 12 colored pencils/sharpened
2 glue sticks
1 protractor and 1 standard compass
1 flash drive
1 box 24 count crayons
**1 pair of junior size scissors
4 packs of loose leaf paper (wide ruled)(1 for home, 1 for binder, 2 for the classroom)
1 pack of graph paper (centimeter square size)
1 pack of multicolored index cards and 1 pack of white index cards
1 pack of 3x3 yellow Post-Its
3 large boxes of tissues
**1-12” ruler w/metric
**1 pencil box
2 rolls of paper towels
2 bottles of hand sanitizer
1 package of baby wipes (refills are okay)
Boys:  Gallon size Ziploc bags  Girls:  Quart size Ziploc bags
1 box of bandaids
1 combination lock (for gym locker, no key locks)
1 plain vinyl binder, 1 ½” to 2” is best (no Velcro types please)
1 package tab pages for the binder (at least 8 tabs suggested)
1 package 3-ring pocket pages or pocket pages with tabs (if you get pocket pages with tabs then you don’t need the individual tab pages)
4-one subject marble composition notebooks
1 combination student dictionary/thesaurus, pocket size (suggested item)
6 Publix brown paper bags for covering books, they protect the books better and you can decorate them
Basic Math Fact Flashcards (+,-, x, /) (optional, but highly suggested)

For Spanish:  1-composition notebook
Spanish/English dictionary
1 expo dry erase marker, fine point

For Chinese:  1-pocket divider
Loose paper for binder

For the Nurse:  Ziploc baggies-1 quart size

For the Art Teacher:  1 white poster board and 1 set Crayola watercolors-classic color
Note from the Art Teacher:  The poster board is for each child to make their own Art Portfolio. Please emphasize the importance that all the Art supplies are Crayola so that there will be uniformity in the colors.

**Some supplies may be leftover or duplicates of previous years and may be reused.  You do not need to buy duplicates.
